The exam IRMA is for category MBA and is conducted at MBA level

Institute of Rural Management is a rural management institute that gives opportunities to the aspirants to build their career. It offers Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) and Fellowship Program in Rural Management (FPRM) which is a research program in rural management.

The institute has the recognition and approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

For both these programs Institute of Rural Management conducts a common entrance test each and every year. Both the programs are mainly related with the rural management which needs specialized training and research.

 

General Eligibility : 

 

For admission to PGDRM, a candidate must be a graduate with atleast 50% aggregate marks from a well recognized university.

For admission to FPRM, candidates should have either of the following qualifications:

1. Post graduate with atleast 55% aggregate marks from a well recognized university and 50% marks in graduation

2. PRM from IRMA,

3. OYP from IRMA with 1 year post diploma experience

4. Four year professional degree(Engineering, Agricultural Sciences etc) with atleast 60% marks and one year of experience OR

5. Five year professional degree (Medicine, Veterinary Science, Architecture, etc.) with 60% marks at graduation
