NCHMCT : National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) for admission to Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel Administration courses offered jointly with IGNOU. The Council centrally regulates academics for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and eleven other structured courses of study that are imparted at the existing 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 12 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management and 18 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT. All theses 51 colleges are accepting the NCHMCT JEE score for first year admission to Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel Administration courses. Eligibility Criteria · Candidate who have passed in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination. · Candidates those who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2012 on provisional basis. How to Apply: Candidates who want to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2012 exam can be obtained from affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management and select branches of AXIS Bank and Bank of Baroda, against cash payment. Addresses of affiliated Institute of Hotel Management and select branches of Bank are available on official website. · Candidates also can submit their application form through online. · The cost of Application Form for General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 900. · The cost of Application Form for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/Physically Disabled category candidates is Rs. 450. · The candidates are advised to go through the Admission Brochure carefully and acquaint themselves with all requirements in respect to filling up of the Application Forms for JEE-2012. Duly completed Application Form should be sent to “JEE CELL” National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, “A-34, Sector 62, Noida-201309” in the pre-addressed envelope through Speed/Registered Post only. The Last Date for receipt of Application form is Friday, April 13, 2012.
